| During our spider week we worked on our schema, new learning and misconceptions. I was surprised at all the misconceptions we had since I knew spiders were slightly introduced in Kindergarten. |

| The children used this in the writing center for the week. They referred to it for informational writing. |

| This project was optional for my students. On Friday we shared our research. Those students who participated were able to put a mark on their bingo board for our Mitchell Wall of Fame! They were so excited. |
