Hippo Day!

We spent our day learning all about hippos.  We worked on fiction and non-fiction stories.  The children loved making our hippos today.  We used a large marshmellow cut in half to make the teeth.  I think they enjoyed eating the left overs more than the project!  One fun fact we learned today was that hippos make a red oil to protect their skin from being sunburned.  Enjoy our pictures.
