Last week we went to the apple orchard and learned all about apples. We had so much fun at the orchard, it is always one of my favorite days of the year. To end the week we did apple stations all day! The children worked around the room in partnerships completing many fun activities in my apple packet. At the end of the day we enjoyed some delicious homemade applesauce. Each child brought in one chopped up peeled apple and we put it in the crock pot. We added a little sugar and a lot of cinnamon. It was delicious.
