๐Ÿ”ข Before we start tackling addition and subtractio ๐Ÿ”ข Before we start tackling addition and subtraction, I want my students to have a strong foundation in one BIG thingโ€ฆ NUMBER SENSE! ๐Ÿ’›

Thatโ€™s why Number Sense is always the first math unit I teach! My Guided MASTER Math Number Sense Unit gets students out of their seats and learning through hands-on activities, games, manipulatives, technology, small groups, and independent practice.

Students build confidence with counting objects, tallies, ten frames, numbers to 120, number relationships, and more while also learning our math rotation routines. ๐Ÿ™Œ

And the best part? Itโ€™s all planned for you! Lesson plans, centers, games, activities, assessments, and even a fun craft are ready to goโ€”making those first weeks of math so much easier.

Comment NUMBER or SENSE and Iโ€™ll send you the link! ๐Ÿ”ขโค๏ธ

โ€œThis is a very thorough resource. I appreciate the Google slides, worksheets and games that are all included!โ€

โ€œI am just wrapping up this unit and had to share how much I love this resource! So many options to use in the classroom. My students and I especially love the teaching slides which make the concepts easier for them to understand. The small group worksheets are excellent as well. Great purchase!โ€

โ€œMy students loved the activities included in this resource! I highly recommend this resource as it follows the I do, we do , and you do learning. The lesson slides are engaging, the games in the manipulatives/apply skills truly help students learn the standard in a fun interactive manner with a peer, and then the small group/review/enrichment worksheets have helped me provide differentiated instruction.โ€

๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“š Read it. Find it. Prove it! Do your students r ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“š Read it. Find it. Prove it!

Do your students read a passage and then guess at the answers instead of going back to the text? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ Getting students to find text evidence and actually PROVE their thinking takes lots of practice!

These August & September Paired Passages make it easy! Students read engaging passages, answer comprehension questions, go back into the text to find evidence, and then compare and contrast the two passages using a Venn diagram. ๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ“–

With fun themes like apples, donuts, monkeys, school supplies, rules, and kindness, these NO PREP passages are perfect for small groups, centers, whole group, or independent practice.

Less guessing and more โ€œI know because the text saysโ€ฆโ€ ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐ŸฆŠ๐Ÿ‚ Looking for a nonfiction topic your students wi ๐ŸฆŠ๐Ÿ‚ Looking for a nonfiction topic your students will be WILD about this fall?

Red foxes are perfect for late fall and November! Thereโ€™s something about those fluffy tails and sneaky fox behaviors that immediately gets kids curiousโ€”and that curiosity makes informational text so much more engaging. ๐Ÿ“š

This All About Red Foxes Nonfiction Unit gives you everything you need to turn that excitement into meaningful learning! Students use a 13-page mini reader and matching real-photo digital book to learn about fox habitats, babies, food, adaptations, and more while practicing important nonfiction text features and reading comprehension skills.

Then extend the learning with writing, word work, fact & opinion, a complete red fox research report, and an adorable fox craft! ๐ŸฆŠโค๏ธ

Itโ€™s an easy way to combine science + reading + writing + research into one engaging fall theme!

And how cute would a hallway full of foxes be with โ€œWhat Does the Fox Say?โ€ ๐ŸฆŠ๐Ÿ

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ› Who rules the playground? Meet Mean Jean...the ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ› Who rules the playground? Meet Mean Jean...the Recess Queen!

The Recess Queen is one of my FAVORITE back-to-school read-alouds because it gets students talking about kindness, friendship, respect, recess expectations, and the choices we make at schoolโ€”all through a story they absolutely love!

This companion takes the learning beyond the read-aloud with engaging comprehension activities, writing, word work, vocabulary, math games, and adorable Mean Jean and Katie Sue crafts! โค๏ธ

Itโ€™s perfect for those first weeks when youโ€™re building classroom community, establishing expectations, and sneaking in meaningful reading practice at the same time.

A great book + important SEL conversations + engaging activities = a back-to-school WIN! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŽ

๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ›’ How cute is this Apples in a Wagon craft for fa ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ›’ How cute is this Apples in a Wagon craft for fall?!

This is such a fun activity for apple week, September, October, or a fall bulletin board. Students can create their wagon as a regular craft, use the tear or no-tear option, or turn it into a fun glyph where they follow directions and share a little about themselves.

Add a writing activity and you have an adorable display thatโ€™s meaningful too! ๐Ÿโค๏ธ

Some of my favorite bulletin board sayings are โ€œWe Are One Sweet Bunch!โ€, โ€œI Picked the Sweetest Class!โ€, and โ€œApple-solutely Awesome!โ€

Perfect for adding a little fall fun to your classroom while building creativity and classroom community. ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŽ
