Watermelon Theme Day
Enjoy the last week of school with this fun end-of-the-year Watermelon Theme Day. During Watermelon Day students will learn all about watermelon and its lifecycle. There are phonics activities, math games and activities, writing extensions, and comprehension strategies for “The Watermelon Seed.” This resource includes a nonfiction book about watermelons with real photos as well as a matching printable book. There are fun watermelon crafts too. Your students will have an amazing day and won’t even realize they are learning. This would also make great summer camp activities for a week filled with fun.
