The Little Butterfly That Could Activities for Reading Comprehension

The Little Butterfly That Could is the sequel to The Very Impatient Caterpillar written by Ross Burach. The butterfly emerges and needs to migrate to find food. When he realizes he has to travel 200 miles, he doesn’t think he can do it. This adorable story focuses on growth mindset and believing in yourself. It pairs perfectly with The Very Impatient Caterpillar and our butterfly lifecycle journals. I just had to make some activities to go along with this story. The Little Butterfly That Could activities pack is filled with comprehension strategies that you can use and differentiate for all your learners. There are also writing and word work activities as well as a few fun math games. Students will enjoy the butterfly craft and coloring activities included, too!
