Strictly No Elephants is the perfect book to work on developing self esteem and teaching kindness and caring. The feature text is used to focus on message and character traits. Many other strategies are included as well such as cause and effect, retelling, sequencing, writing, text connections and more. Students will learn all about how important it is to feel included, accepted and not judged. There is a sweet elephant craft as well as a tree house craft.
