All about Insects and Bugs Nonfiction Unit Insect Research Reports
Are you teaching your students about insects and bugs? This packet includes guided reading strategies to learn about insect and bug characteristics. There are three paper mini books that are Included; All about insects, Insects vs. Spiders, and Bugs A to Z. There are also research projects included for 5 different insects; butterflies, ladybugs, grasshoppers, bumblebees, & dragonflies. Have fun complete a butterfly craft, ladybug craft, grasshopper craft, bumblebee craft and dragonfly craft. Loads of writing, reading comprehension strategies, and comparing and contrasting spiders to insects. I use this packet to integrate reading as well as research. I included lesson plans for you to look over on how I use this packet as well.
