Friendship Theme Day

End the school year by celebrating all the friendships they’ve made in class or plan a Friendship Theme Day for Valentine’s Day or any time throughout the school year.  Make a special friendship snack, discuss the qualities of a good friend, interview friends, make friendship bracelets, create friendship flowers, and design a class deck of cards to play games. There are phonics activities, math games and activities, writing extensions, and comprehension strategies for any friendship theme story. Your students will have an amazing day make wonderful memories, and won’t even realize they are learning.
